The former baseball player Jose Canseco has nightmares about steroids

The former MLB player Jose Canseco has pointed out that he experiences nightmares connected with steroids. He has noticed that he has begun to experience nightmares from the time of writing his book “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”. This work reveled administration of steroids by certain MLB players. Jose Canseco has noticed on his Twitter account that nightmares linked with steroids hunt him since he wrote the book. Furthermore, he continues to experience them till today. Jose Canseco compares them with a demon that never sleeps.
Jose Canseco has called himself the “godfather of steroids in baseball”. He described in his book about application of steroids by several MLB players quite openly. This book was tuned out to be a bestseller. ”The godfather of steroids in baseball” has identified names of the players that have applied anabolic steroids. Canseco confirmed that he had been pushed out of professional baseball because of his book.
Jose Canseco named such athletes, as Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriquez, Jason Giambi and Juan Gonzalez, confirming that they had used steroids. He also mentioned names of Alex Rodriquez and Roger Clemens but he didn’t state that he had known about steroid use by these persons directly.
The most prominent name that has been reported by Jose Canseco in his work is the name of the former professional baseball player Mark McGwire that hit 70 homeruns. Canseco noted that McGwire had applied Deca Durabolin and Winstrol, when they played with the Oakland A’s.
Canseco noted that he had injected Mark McGwire with steroids many times in the bathrooms and in other places. He noticed that he injected McGwire before their trainings or after them.
At the beginning no one was inclined to believe that these affirmations were true. Mark McGwire denied administration of steroids. But later the accusations were proven. Finally Mark McGwire acknowledged that he had applied steroids and HGH. He reported that Jose Canseco had described the truth.
McGwire acknowledged that he had administered forbidden drugs and he had apologized about this aspect. He noted that he was taking them during the 90s. Later McGwire has received possibility to play professional baseball again. He was engaged as a St. Louis Cardinals’ hitting instructor.
As for Jose Canseco, he dreams to get the 2nd chance and to come back to the MLB. The “Tigres de Quintana Roo” have agreed to give the second chance. Canseco hopes that this is his stop in direction to the MLB.
