Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus, is also the president of the National Olympic Committee. He was very distressed after the Belarusian female shot-putter Nadzeya Ostapchuk tested positive for a forbidden substance. The president was very frustrated. Alexander Lukashenko turned out to be a serious fan of sports. He felt ashamed that representatives of his country spoiled Belarusian’s sports reputation by positives for prohibited substances. As a result, he confirmed that some changes would take place.
The Belarusian president confirmed that it was needed to criminalize administration of forbidden medications in sports. So, sports will be probably clean. This statement was pronounced by the Belarusian president after Nadzeya Ostapchuk was caught administering methenolone. This medicine is also known as Primobolan.
Alexander Lukashenko desires to see that his country succeeds in sports on the international scene. If the president of Belarusia desires to clean his country’s sports, he will be able to do it. Certain facts display that this person has achieved many goals linked with his country.
Actually, Lukashenko is a hard president. He was even accused of rights’ violation. He is able to change the situation in sports by force as well.
Lukashenko doesn’t plan to discuss about administration of forbidden drugs in sports. There are other things which should be discussed, according to the president of Belorussia.
Anatoliy Tozik, the Vice-President for Alexander Lukashenko, claimed that they could establish a sports scientific center which would be sponsored by the state. The center would conduct scientific researches related to mental and pharmacological support for elite athletes. The Belarusian president agreed to establish this center.
It is unknown whether Alexander Lukashenko will clean sports at any cost. Will he utilize his force for this need?
