What is unusual here? - Nothing. Anabolic steroids and other related drugs are widely abused in baseball and in other sports. Sportspersons get these preparations at pharmacies, clinics, etc. A lot of anti-ageing clinics, pharmaceutical companies and other related establishments distribute anabolic steroids and other doping products illegally. Biogenesis is not the only clinic that is involved in illicit operations linked with steroids and other prescription medications. Sportspersons find various ways to obtain anabolic steroids and other related medications and apply them. Although anti-doping officers try to eliminate doping from sports, their efforts are not successful.
Do you suppose that anti-doping agencies don’t work enough well? Do you mean that they should introduce more sophisticated drug testing programs? Do you claim that they don’t do their job properly?

Thus, certain sportspersons have unfair advantage over others. Anti-doping officers can’t change the situation. They are not able to make sports “clean”. What is it necessary to do under such circumstances? It is probably better to legalize doping in professional sports. So, anyone will be allowed to take whatever he/she wants. As a result, no any athlete will have unfair advantage over another.
But since anabolic steroids and other related drugs are not permitted in sports, sportspersons try to find methods to purchase and administer these medications, avoiding detection. When it becomes evident that certain athletes dope, scandals appear.
